Exciting news concerning the 2011 PWMN Rally!  Arrangements are now finalised and the Shuttleworth Collection of vintage aircraft, Old Warden Aerodrome, Bedfordshire is to be the home base for our June Summer Rally. Reserve the weekend of 10th-12th June in your diary and enjoy the delights of rural Bedforshire from the driver's seat of your pre-war Minor. (Other pre-war cars and their crews equally welcome!) Jan 27th: For those who wish to acquire an Ordnance Survey Map that covers the area within which we are holding our two tours - just one is required this year, this being Landranger Series No. 153

Jan 26th: The Rally booking form is now available to download and print. (Click the Blue Button above) To confirm your booking simply complete the details as required and post your forms to the PWMN. You will receive an email confirmation by return upon receipt at Rally H.Q.

Jan 17th: More prospective accommodation has been added to the list - see below.

Jan 4th 2011: Further confirmed accommodation bookings have been made by rallyists and another B&B has been added to the list below. The Official Rally Booking Form will be published here shortly.

Dec 5th 2010: The first accomodation bookings have now been confirmed by four of the Rally teams who have thoughtfully planned well ahead.
The newly commissioned PWMN Harry Edward's Trophy will be awarded during the course of the Saturday evening revelries in the Airfield Restaurant.

Oct 11th 2010: Our 2011 Rally arrangements with the Shuttleworth Trust were finalised today. Bookings for the rally will now be accepted from 1st November 2010 when the booking forms will be available for download from the website. Further details of the schedule should also be available at that time.

Sept 22nd 2010: Local accomodation details have been added to the rally page today (see below) Thanks are due to Trevor and Sylvia Wilkinson for researching this important topic on behalf of the PWMN.

August 24th 2010: Planning is now underway for the 2011 PWMN Rally which will be centered upon the historic Old Warden Aerodrome. The Saturday tour will commence and end on the site while the rally dinner will take place 'al fresco' on the airfield restaurant patio (weather dependant). The tour will take in the magnificent Airship sheds at Cardington, one of which was the home base of the ill fated R101.

The following locations all have suitable rally accomodation, although availability in some cases is restricted to just one or two rooms. In view of the initial heavy take up of available rally entries it is recommended that rooms are booked early to avoid later disappointment.

1.) The Green Man Inn at Stanford has a limited number of rooms.
