Motor Sport photographer Peter McFadyen has been capturing old car images through the lenses of his cameras for over 40 years. His impeccably designed website www.petermcfadyen.co.uk shows off many of these images to very good effect and is well worth an extended visit.

Much of Peter's output these days is captured at VSCC events up and down the country including action from that organisation's Light Car & Edwardian Section (The LC&ES). Here his camera often comes across a competing Morris Minor or M.G. M Type and he has very generously permitted a number of the resulting images to be displayed below in our special gallery.

Peter is also the author of two recently released books. The first of these, entiled A Vintage Year displays many of his shots from the 2008 and 2009 VSCC seasons. The second such volume La Vie en Blue (sub titled A French weekend at Prescott Hillclimb - 2009) is a compendium of 180 images from the Bugatti Owner's Club meeting on their hill during the summer of 09.
