Although not the earliest business to market special bodied versions of the Hornet, Eustace Watkins, the Wolseley London based main dealer for the brand were the first to list a four-door saloon type. The body was built for them by coachbuilders, Mulliner and a short introductory article appeared in a November 1930 edition of The Motor magazine.
