According to many pre-war car pundits the bottom has dropped out of the pre-war car sales market. While it’s clear that one swallow doesn’t make a summer, this car (1933 season Morris Minor Two-seater AV 5536) certainly bucked that trend, selling for £12,600 at a recent Mathewson’s auction in Pickering, Yorks., a near record price for the model.
