The sheer scale of Facebook is mind boggling. A search of that vast network produced this lovely period photograph of a 1933 London registered Morris Minor Saloon (JJ 4195). It was posted by Keith Waight who remembers the family car from the fifties and wanted to know a little more about it. Here, his mother is seated at the wheel during a break on a family excursion. The car’s offside front bald tyre would indicate that the photograph was taken prior to the introduction of the ‘MOT Test’ while identification of the badge attached to the nearside of the radiator grill could reveal a little more of the car’s history.
