Wartime images of Morris Minors are not rare items. They can be found appearing on auction websites and elsewhere if the seeker is diligent. This photograph of 1934 Two-seater (BPD 880), a March 1934 Surrey County Council registered vehicle, was found on this website and relates the wartime tale of R.A.F. Sergeant WOP/Air Gunner Jim Coman, who flew in a variety of heavy bombers from his Mildenhall, Suffolk base. Driving a Minor at night in the early Forties must have been an interesting experience.
