Perhaps the most popular of the 30s summer season, South Coast Resort concourse events was staged in Eastbourne each September. In 1931, it was held on 9th, and plenty of cars in which we have an interest took part, including these Wolseley Hornet specials, both of which were among the awards. On the left is PL 9592, an A.P. Compton-bodied Arrow Hornet special, the firm’s demonstrator and press car, alongside which is KJ 2345, a 1931 Eustace Watkins Hornet four-seater.
