This photograph was taken at the Morris Motors factory in Cowley, Oxfordshire, in the late summer of 1933. It depicts a 1934 season Morris Minor Four-door Saloon in a somewhat dirty condition, a strange state considering that the image was destined to be distributed to the motoring press for publicity purposes. This example was sent to The Autocar, eventually finding a home in the LAT Collection. The 1934 lwb Saloon was a luxuriously equipped Morris Minor which sold for £150.
