Yet another typical 1930s snapshot featuring the family runabout, this one being a Dumfries-registered 1932 Morris Minor Saloon (SM 9241). By the mid-1930s, it was no longer unusual to see a female behind the wheel, although permitting her son to sit astride the wing would be testing the strength of its support bracket to its limit.
