Here is an unusual postcard image of an unidentified 1933 Morris Minor Saloon in the Surrey commuter town of Godalming. Why unusual? Of the several hundred Morris Minor Saloon images held in the Network’s archive, just a handful depict the car with the model’s windscreen in an open position. This feature was considered important by both those buying and selling small saloons in the 30s, and something of a luxury on what were considered to be cheap family models.
