HY 2??? is a 1931 Morris Minor SV Coachbuilt Saloon, one of just 2816 SV Saloons built in the 1931 season, its black-painted radiator and screen surround indicating its status in the Minor range. This particular car was first registered in the City of Bristol, midway through the year, and was perhaps captured on camera at a west coast seaside resort (maybe Minehead or Weston-Super-Mare) at the tail-end of the thirties decade or in the early post-war years.
