The Morris Minor Coachbuilt Saloon was announced in August 1929 and began arriving in dealer showrooms in September. This publicity side-on view shot of the about-to-be-launched model reveals that it was a development car, as the bonnet lower edge runs parallel to the top of the bonnet side, a feature dropped for production versions of the car, which had a triangular section added, thus filling that bottom edge void.
