This heavily retouched photo of a rare 1931 SV Morris Minor Tourer (VE 5263) first appeared in the 20th January 1933 edition of The Autocar magazine (P91). It is seen towing a long trailer, stowed inside of which is an Abbotts Scud II sailplane or glider. It’s not clear if the Scud sailplane was built by the coachbuilding company of the same name, but it does seem likely that it was. (Image: LAT Collection)
