This poor-quality photograph is of KY 48, a March 1931 Bradford-registered £100 Morris Minor Two-seater. As the first £100 cars weren’t to leave Cowley for Morris Dealerships until late January 1931, it’s safe to say that KY 48 was an early production example. The Trilby-hatted, cigarette-smoking young driver and the condition of the front tyres might indicate that the photograph was taken a little later than the car’s year of manufacture. (Note the small, oval ‘Auster’ badge on the windscreen top rail.)
