When someone has a spare hour or two they might take the trouble of calculating the true ratio of surviving pre-war Minor saloons to open cars. If types attending the Network’s rallies are a guide, it’s somewhere between one in six at the low end and one in four at best. The 2015 rally is illustrative of the upper end in that six Minor saloons attended from an entry list of 26 cars and were joined for lunch by Martin Redmond’s Hornet Saloon replica which was built upon a Minor saloon chassis.
