The 2025 Event Galleries page is launched with 22 photographs taken at the VSCC’s New Year Driving Test event held at the Brooklands Museum at the end of January.

The December 1945 edition of The Light Car contains an article detailing the workings and upkeep of the SU Petrol Pump. This document has been added to the Members Area, Technical Bits section, under Carburation & Fuel and compliments the SU Pressure Pump Servicing leaflet already in place there.

Thanks to the kindness of noted vintage car photographer Phil Jones, images from some of the final VSCC events of the year are now available at the foot of the 2024 Event Galleries page. Thank you, Phil.

Thanks to PWMN memberDominic Ditchfield, the website can now display a series of 22 images taken at the Morris Motors Plating Plant in the early to mid-thirties. They can be found in the Member’s Area of the website via a link at the foot of the page menu. Little is known, therefore any information concerning these images will be gratefully recieved.

Two new items have been added to the Member’s Area of the website. The first of these is December 1932 Light Car article providing details and first impressions of the (then) recently launched Wolseley Hornet Parallite Special, perhaps the most non-conventional looking of all coachbuilt Hornets. (Find it at the foot of the Wolseley Hornet Sports & Specials page).  The second item is the latest in a ‘How to …’ series written by forumist Joe Rayner (AKA  Oilyrag), this one on the fitting of tyres to vintage rims without causing them damage. (Find it under Axles, wheels etc., in the Technical Bits section. Both are well worth a read.
