Transport photographer, David Kerr contacted the register with this photo (and others) of OJ 1041, Rick Osborne’s 1932 Morris Minor Family Eight. Rick reports: “It was on Sunday, 17th May on the A78, somewhere around West Kilbride. I was doing about 40 mph and saw a guy at a table suddenly pick up his camera and point it at me. I actually thought he’d missed me. I also saw a van, which I thought said ‘Motorcycle Photography – you’ve confirmed that in your email. As he seemed to have been caught unaware, it’s likely that a prewar Minor doing 40 makes less noise than an approaching plastic rocket with 3 figures on the clock!! I was taking my wife from Dunoon to Ardrossan so she could get the ferry to Arran for two days with family members.”
