The Triple M series of MG’s all belong to a family of models that commenced with the 1929 MG Midget and continued through to the mid-thirties via a long string of four and six cylinder OHC engined cars that forged the marques identity.
The Brighton & Hove Motor Club’s Brighton-Beer Trial was a major event on the trials’ calendar with many well-known protagonists taking part. This LAT Collection image was taken over the weekend of 16th-17th June 1934 and depicts MG P Type (MG 3141) being wrestled up a steep Devon incline by driver C.
