The Triple M series of MG’s all belong to a family of models that commenced with the 1929 MG Midget and continued through to the mid-thirties via a long string of four and six cylinder OHC engined cars that forged the marques identity.
The 1933 running of the Brighton & Hove Motor Club’s Brigton-Beer Trial took place on the 25th June. Seen here on one of the six observed hills is J.H. Freeman‘s supercharged MG J3 Midget (UF 9995). It was a good day for Freeman who went on to collect a First Class Award. (LATplate C956 courtesy of Motorsport Images)
