The Triple M series of MG’s all belong to a family of models that commenced with the 1929 MG Midget and continued through to the mid-thirties via a long string of four and six cylinder OHC engined cars that forged the marques identity.

The Bugatti Owners Club ran an annual hillclimb event in Chalfont-St-Peter, Bucks from 1929 until 1935. This photo of Doreen Evans expertly handling a Bellevue Garage MG Q-Type (chassis QA0254) was taken in May 1935 at the venue’s last event, just a few weeks before she was to compete at Le Mans in one of Eyston’s MG PBs with Barbara Skinner as her co-driver.
