The Triple M series of MG’s all belong to a family of models that commenced with the 1929 MG Midget and continued through to the mid-thirties via a long string of four and six cylinder OHC engined cars that forged the marques identity.
This recent eBay purchase is one of four images of this car now residing in the Network’s archive. KJ 4831 was first registered in early March 1932 in Kent. This would make this metal panelled MG M Type Midget among the last couple of hundred M Type Midgets to leave Abingdon. The car toured France in the mid-thirties, more of which in a future edition of TMC.
