The Triple M series of MG’s all belong to a family of models that commenced with the 1929 MG Midget and continued through to the mid-thirties via a long string of four and six cylinder OHC engined cars that forged the marques identity.
For a period in the mid-thirties, the Bugatti Owners Club held a series of speed events on Gold Hill Common, Chalfont-St-Peter in South Buckinghamshire. This photo of MG K3 prototype JB 1046 may well have been taken by Bill Brunell, who attended this meeting in 1935, as a similar photograph of this car, at this venue, is attributed to him and resides in a national collection at Beaulieu.
