The Triple M series of MG’s all belong to a family of models that commenced with the 1929 MG Midget and continued through to the mid-thirties via a long string of four and six cylinder OHC engined cars that forged the marques identity.
Cresta of Worthing was noted for being a car dealership run by enthusiasts of sports cars for sports car enthusiasts. Their premises in Broadwater Road opened in May 1934, and by 1935, the business was supplying some beautiful special-bodied cars. Among them was this MG N-Type Magnette with a special lightweight 2+2 body designed by Bertelli. Various sources claim that up to 12 N-Types were the recipients of these bodies, and it’s believed that three survive.
