The Triple M series of MG’s all belong to a family of models that commenced with the 1929 MG Midget and continued through to the mid-thirties via a long string of four and six cylinder OHC engined cars that forged the marques identity.
MG P Type Midget (KY 6888) was first registered in Bradford in late 1934. Almost two years later (July 1936), it was photographed against this beautiful backdrop while competing at the Yorkshire Sports Car Club’s Speed Trials at Wetherby. It is not known how the car fared. (LAT Collection Image)
