The Triple M series of MG’s all belong to a family of models that commenced with the 1929 MG Midget and continued through to the mid-thirties via a long string of four and six cylinder OHC engined cars that forged the marques identity.
Racing driver, Richard (Dick) Seaman, was a generational talent and regarded as Britain’s best, in the years running up to the Second World War. He is seen here, aged just 22, driving a Belleview Garage Magnette in the 1935 Ards RAC TT. Immediately behind Seaman is a second Belleview entered Magnette, this one being driven Dennis Evans. Seaman finished 10th in this event, with Evans in 13th (and last), place.
