Triple M Corner no.430

By June 2, 2026Triple M corner

The Triple M series of MG’s all belong to a family of models that commenced with the 1929 MG Midget and continued through to the mid-thirties via a long string of four and six cylinder OHC engined cars that forged the marques identity.

The MG PB Midget was launched in September 1935 with an enlarged 939 cc 43 bhp engine. The main outward appearance change from its predecessor, the MG PA, was the introduction of a slatted grill radiator, although this is not apparent in this early image of the prototype (JB 6569). This publicity photograph is from the LAT Collection.
