While many cars with a pre-war sporting history have departed to that huge heavenly scrapyard some have thankfully survived. This 1932 Wolseley Hornet Special (PJ 6010) is one such example. It was driven in 1932 and 1933 by N.E. Bracey who took part in many of the national trials between 1931 and 1938 winning plenty of awards along the way. It was last seen and photographed by the writer at the 2021 Pre-war Prescott event wearing badges that hint at its illustrious past.
