In the late summer of 1931 Morris announced their new model range, including a long wheel base version of the Minor which they named the Family Eight four-door Saloon. The Autocar magazine then published a large scale cut-away diagram of the new model which appears here courtesy of LAT. Glass plate negative ref. L5436 is just one of a significant number of newly discovered photographic plates uncovered during the course of the archive’s move to new premises.
