There is something akin to a rivalry between owners of open and closed cars, each expounding the virtues of one type over the other, given the opportunity. However, there can be little doubt that when the temperature sits just a few degrees above freezing and there is the prospect of rain, or even snow in the air, the saloon car wins hands down!
